Stephen joined CCL in 2015 as a Project Manager, bringing with him extensive experience across construction and Three Waters project delivery. His capability and leadership saw him appointed Operations Manager in 2022, following years of successfully managing high‑stakes projects in New Zealand, the UK, and Australia.

Stephen is passionate about upholding CCL’s values, delivering high‑quality projects on time and within budget, and developing the capability of our people. He has a deep understanding of resource management and is highly skilled in the strategic planning and programming of large‑scale civil construction works.

In October 2025, Stephen was appointed General Manager — a newly created role designed to support the development needs of CCL’s growing business and strengthen our operational and strategic leadership.

Daniel joined CCL in May 2015 as a Team Leader. He quickly showed he is passionate about developing people, strengthening operational systems, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. His hands‑on experience across multiple facets of civil construction – including pipe ramming, pipe bursting, and horizontal directional drilling – gives him a deep understanding of resource planning, workflow management, and the operational demands of a growing business.

Daniel stepped into the role of Operations Manager in late 2025, bringing to the role his strong practical problem‑solving approach, clear communication, and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes across complex projects.

As a director at CCL, Steve is a highly skilled and technically knowledgeable tradesperson with experience spanning many years and all levels of the civil construction industry. He has built a strong reputation for delivering value to clients through excellent service, practical expertise, and consistently high‑quality outcomes.

Steve’s strengths lie in critical thinking, planning, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting complex challenges to achieve the best possible result for the client. He embraces difficult work and thrives in environments where unexpected issues arise, bringing a calm, solutions‑focused approach that supports both project teams and operational delivery

Steve has been instrumental in retaining and growing the skill levels within the business. He works closely with team members as a mentor and instructor, supporting them to achieve trade qualifications and progress their career pathways. Miriama joined CCL in early 2026 after gaining her NZ Diplioma in Civil Engineering. She brings over years of hands-on experience in the wastewater and stormwater infrastructure field and is passionate about building resilient and sustainable infrastructure for Wellington communities.

Miri has a strong skillset in field work carrying out site investigations and pipe inspections using CCTV equipment, assessing the condition of assets in water infrastructure systems. She is keen to build on her project leadership skills and deliver high quality, future proof projects for CCL and our clients and stakeholders.

Jamie started working for CCL in 2015 in the trenches as a skilled team member. He has worked his way steadily up the ranks, becoming a frontline operator first and then Team Leader. Now as our newest site manager he is leading his team diligently to deliver a variety of complex and challenging projects, replacing drinking waterm storwater and wastewater systems across the Wellington region.

Jamie has a range of valuable skills and experience including PE pipe welding, and excavator operation. He is well liked and respected by all on site and is drawing on his experience across multiple roles with CCL to develop a great culture in his team with focus always on safely delivering environmentally friendly, high quality results

Lofi is one of CCL’s longest serving employees who has gained his valuable knowledge of civil construction from the ground up. He has extensive experience building Three Waters pipe networks of every scale and in many roles within the business. Lofi’s intimate knowledge of CCL’s culture, product and services makes him a steadying force on site, he is well respected by his team and colleagues and takes a personal interest in the development of his team members. He has developed a team that strives for high quality and productivity through their close knit relationship and pride in their work

Garrison joined CCL as a skilled and versatile machine operator with wide experience operating directional drills, excavators and hydrovac vehicles. Around this time CCL formed a specialist directional drilling division and Garrison became part of that team as the primary directional drill operator. Garrison became Team Leader of that team in 2022 through showing strong drive and commitment to develop CCL’s reputation as the leading directional drill contractor in the Wellington region.

Garrison is motivated to develop his leadership and technical skills and has taken ownership of the performance of the drill team when he became Site Manager. He displays a passion to do the best job possible, find opportunities for drilling and deliver the efficiencies and benefits that come with that. He enjoys learning and improving every day.
